The Trust Walk

Robin was teaching a lesson to the young children yesterday at church. He is a gentle man, gifted teacher, and fun. At one point he led the two kids in his class on a trust walk. Both girls, Ana and Anna, were blindfolded and received instruction from Robin. He led them around the classroom as they were hanging onto each other's shoulder.

Then it came time for the trust fall. As Robin stood behind Ana, he placed his hand on her shoulder. Both girls were still in blindfolds and listening to his instructions. He said "Ok, now fall backwards and I will catch you." Ana fell back into Robins arms.

Then Robin noticed that Anna too, fell backwards, but no one was there to catch her! She went down with a thud!

LOLOLOLOL

Anna "whimpered a bit" but was okay. I'm not sure she will ever do the trust fall again though!

Robin blames it on bad instruction, and I just laughed and laughed. I can just imagine that gentle man standing there catching one girl and noticing that to his right, the little girl falling without him there to catch her! It must have scared him so bad, let alone poor little Anna! LOLOLOL Everyone was ok though.

Robin says I'm getting way too much mileage out of that! LOLOL
