We did not participate, nor did our church. To read my thoughts on Porn Sunday you can read my orignal post on it here and further thoughts here. You may find it interesting to go back to those posts and others regarding Porn Sunday that are on the same page to read the comments by visitors who respectfully disagree with me.
I had actually forgotten all about it being Porn Sunday until I received notification of a comment on one of my posts. It comes from J.R. Mahon of XXXchurch.com
"You will know them by their fruit. A good tree bears good fruit, a bad tree bears bad fruit. We work tirelessly bringing people hope, recovery, healing and salvation in the name of Christ. We travel the world and have seen Christ through our ministry heal countless lives. The stories are truly miraculous. The fruit of this ministry is good. Please be minded of the things of God and not the things of man.
Thank you for letting us speak.
We pray you continue to grow in Christ.

I still disagree with the method because to me the things of God do not include "XXX" symbols, documentaries entitled "Missionary Positions", "Wally the Weiner" mascots, and "Save the Kitten" videos. To me, those are "things of man".
J.R. is right, we will know them by their fruit, and I want to point out that I do not question their good intentions and heart attitude toward their ministry. God can and does heal people emotionally, physically and spiritually whether or not I agree with the methods of a specific ministry. To God be the glory!
