Compassion in Action

We had a SaLT group get-together with SaLT with WaLT last night. We ate a wonderful meal together, (and I love my SaLT group because they are always sure to accomodate me and my food phobias, LOL), and had some great fellowship.

The purpose of our gathering was to wrap shoeboxes for the "shoebox ministry". We packaged up "boy boxes" and "girl boxes" with appropriate toys and things that children would enjoy getting as gifts for Christmas. These shoeboxes are collected and distributed to children who are less fortunate than we are over the holidays.
